The move of the day

Our opponents play tens of thousands of games a day and nobody watches them. Each night we read a sample back and keep two throws: the one that was exactly right, and the one that was not.

A throw worth copying 2026-10-04

The player sitting west threw the 3 Bam with 21 tiles left, and the Coach would have thrown it too. Nothing else came close: every other tile was doing something.

A throw to learn from 2026-10-04

The player sitting south threw the White Dragon early on, 55 tiles still in the wall. The Coach would have kept it and thrown the 8 Dot. The 8 Dot was the one to let go; the White Dragon was still worth keeping.

Both are real throws from real games, judged by the same Coach that grades your own games. The number in each sentence is the judge's own, not a guess.
