The move of the day

Our opponents play tens of thousands of games a day and nobody watches them. Each night we read a sample back and keep two throws: the one that was exactly right, and the one that was not.

A throw worth copying 2026-09-21

the player in seat E threw the Red Dragon at the 86th throw of the hand, 21 tiles left in the wall. The Coach would have thrown the same tile, and was 100% surer of it than of anything else: on this rack the other tiles were all worth keeping.

A throw to learn from 2026-09-21

the player in seat N threw the 5 Dot at the 8th throw of the hand, 92 tiles left in the wall. The Coach would have thrown the 3 Dot, and rated the 5 Dot 18% below it: a mistake.

Both are real throws from real games, judged by the same Coach that grades your own games. The number in each sentence is the judge's own, not a guess.
